Google will receive over 500,000,000 search inquiries that it has never been asked prior to today. 80% of the INFORMATION that resides in the ocean that you surf using the World Wide Web (WWW) is so DEEP that it has not been indexed yet. Today, every known web page is only 19 degrees of separation from every other web page. Our first attempt to send a brief message (L O G I N) over an International Networked system of computers was in 1974. That message failed because the “Internet” (shortened term published that same year) crashed when it got to “G”.

Now that may seem to be useless trivia on the surface (no pun intended) but rest assured it is the evidence you need to believe in God, feed your family and drive your car. Rather you like it or not, over 80% of the world you think you know is invisible to the spectrum of your 5 senses as a human being. The other 18% you sense and call reality is changing so fast on the surface that surfing it has been not only more and more complex and ever changing in milliseconds but that surface can be manipulated by a force so powerful that you only surf when and where THEY tell you to surf.

Freedom of Speech is the ability to publish a selfie, an article, a video, a review, memes, emoticons, an ebook, a status update, a tweet, a podcast, a reflection, a check-in to an audience of your choosing.  In 2016, you have 3 chooses:.

1. Friends and Family

2. Friends of Friends (default in 2016)

3. Public

This is a lie! An Illusion fabricated to make YOU feel secure and in control. In this ocean of information every click you make is recorded and stored. Google knows more about you than you and your wife know about you combined. You have no secrets. You just think you do.  Perception is your reality.

So, how does this change the fast growing multi-billion dollar industry we call SEO!  First of all, it is important that YOU come to understand that more money will be spent in 2017 in that one year manipulating the mind of your “screen-ager” than his / her formal education for all 4 years of high school. Do you want the red pill or the blue pill? All I can offer you is the truth. SEO must and will evolve on 3 malleable surfaces:

1. Time:

In 2017, The Global Conscience will be united in a world war that will change every millisecond. WE (All of Us) will not only NEED to keep up BUT our human nature thirsts for real time non-manipulated KNOWLEDGE. In 2017, SEO must be able to simply keep up. Since WE (consumers of knowledge) are easily manipulated and reliant on a few mass media moguls (I refer to them as the M3s in my new book called “Killing Anonymity”), the M3s will start to eliminate all non-value added business processes. That’s a good thing btw. However, in 2017, they will also begin to eliminate very important value added processes due to a “new entrant” in the competition for those hundreds of billions of dollars. Greed is NOT good. God did design Greed. We did. Greed has a built-in “kill switch“. In 2017, SEO will change through mergers and acquisitions of the mighty to fight the “new entrants”. This war will co-exist with #WW3 and be fueled by WE (All of US). Our need for speed will change the core of SEO.

2. Keyword Phrases:

As mentioned earlier in this article, today, WE (All of US) will ask Google 500,000 search terms that She has never been asked prior. She will do Her best, but She will not inherently recognize the value of that search inquiry. She will not know how to price in the open market. She will not be able to crawl it, analyze it, index it, price it and get to an open market in “near real time”. This is both an opportunity and a THREAT if you spend as little as $100,000 annually on SEO. Take advantage of Her inabilities. You will need to outpace Her in your quest for Keyword Phrases.

3. Deep / Undiscovered Knowledge:

Hundreds if not thousands of cognitive behavioral scientist will soon be working in the Knowledge Management Industry. Big Data is bigger than you can possibly imagine. If you are not hiring cognitive behavioral scientist for your Big Data projects, you should be adding, at least, another $2,000,000 to your Big Data budgets to recruit, hire and EDUCATE cognitive scientist on “Zeros and Ones in the 21st Century”. SEO cannot and will not evolve without their insights.
