A Meditation on the Non-Attention Economy

This short meditation is an invitation to notice something quietly beautiful: civilization keeps expanding the background so you can finally stop supervising what never deserved your attention in the first place. The subconscious has always done this for you—heartbeats, breathing, digestion—charging a small, invisible tax so you can be awake for your actual life.

As prediction machines absorb more of what used to require constant checking, we’re entering a new era where attention becomes even more sacred. This isn’t about becoming a better worker. It’s about becoming more present. Press play, breathe slowly, and let the words return you to what matters most: love, meaning, and presence.
