The impetus flows from the idea to the person, never the other way around. This is less about possessing a thought than being possessed by it: a direct recruitment in which conditioned love, in the form of a concept or cause, enlists the mind to express it. Conditioned love thus bears personal will, bias, and a need to propagate itself, inevitably calling for an advocate among humanity.
Unconditioned love, by contrast, stands as a boundless totality without any urge to single out or enlist support. It is the father—an unknowable future—neither seeking nor selecting a surrogate, for it has no preference or directive to fulfill. It remains an all-encompassing presence that embraces the mother (the immutable past) without condition or demand. Lacking a design, it requires no external proof of its sufficiency. It sees nothing lacking, no imperfection to correct, no cause to rally behind. Its nature is pure generosity and acceptance—an intelligent spontaneity that provides exactly what is needed, with no partiality to any outcome.
Within this contrast, the choice to advocate for unconditioned love can only arise from the history-maker’s personal initiative. Unconditioned love itself exerts no persuasive influence, sets forth no invitation, and issues no summons for any individual to represent it. Yet a human being, for their own reasons, may choose to stand for this unconditioned totality by refusing all partialities and biases. This advocacy remains purely self-initiated, an act of seeing the entirety of existence as inherently complete, perfect in its unfolding, and undeserving of any narrower attempt to dominate, reshape, or direct it. In that sense, advocating for unconditioned love involves consciously relinquishing all narrower loyalties, finding in the father’s boundlessness a silent, all-embracing love that neither demands nor denies—and simply is.
