Make Better History

There is only one piece of advice: make better history.

Why?

Because it solves every problem.

No matter how you describe your suffering—mental anguish, chronic pain, loneliness, purposelessness, failure, addiction, fear—it is all resolved through the simple, profound act of making better history.

If you are struggling with depression, you do not need to analyze your past or dissect your trauma. Make better history, and your depression dissolves.

If you are trapped in cycles of self-destruction, if your relationships are a mess, if you cannot seem to find love, purpose, or peace—make better history, and you will have love, purpose, and peace.

If you are in physical pain, if your body is failing you, if your energy is low, if your future looks bleak—make better history, and your body will heal.

All of it. Every problem you have—gone—if you commit, fully and completely, to making better history.

Why Does Making Better History Solve Everything?

Because your subconscious prediction machine is your reality.

It is not an input to your reality—it is your reality.

The subconscious does only one thing: it predicts what happens next based on your history. That’s it. It constantly generates your experience based on what it expects will happen next, and that expectation is entirely shaped by your past.

So if your history doesn’t change, your reality doesn’t change.

The only way to change your reality is to change what your subconscious predicts will happen next. And the only way to change its predictions is to make better history—either through effortless love or disciplined action.

How to Make Better History

There are two ways:

1. The Effortless Way: Fall in Love with the Divine

The easiest way to make better history is to fall in love with the divine.

When you are in love, action is effortless. It flows naturally, beautifully, without thought.

Think of when you have been in love with another person. Your behavior changed without effort. You sent messages without thinking. You rearranged your schedule without hesitation. You made history—good history—without needing a plan.

The same is true when you fall in love with the divine.

If you love the divine, your subconscious will watch your every action and ask itself: “Is this the new norm?”

And it will see only the actions of a lover. Every time it asks, it will see you move, speak, and think as one who is in love. The answer will always be yes.

And because the subconscious prediction machine determines your reality, your reality will transform effortlessly.

This is the most beautiful way, the easiest way. But it is not the only way.

2. The Disciplined Way: Reprogram the Subconscious Prediction Machine

If you are not in love with the divine, making better history requires great effort.

The subconscious does not listen to your words. It does not listen to your emotions. It does not listen to your intentions.

It only listens to your actions.

Through rigorous discipline—structured, daily, unwavering commitment—you can force your subconscious to predict something new.

If you meditate at 8:15 AM every single day for over a year, your subconscious will no longer ask, “Is this an anomaly?” It will expect it. It will predict it.

At first, this process is brutal. It requires tremendous effort. But eventually, your subconscious prediction machine shifts—and what once required great effort becomes effortless.

This is why monks follow strict regimens. Why rehab programs work. Why elite athletes train daily. They are reconfiguring their subconscious expectations, so that making better history becomes automatic.

If you are not in love with the divine, you must force yourself to make better history until it becomes natural.

Why the Middle Ground Doesn’t Work at All

There is no middle ground.

You cannot be half pregnant. You cannot change your subconscious through occasional effort.

The subconscious only listens to sustained action. If your actions do not consistently and persistently answer the question, “Is this the new norm?” with a definitive yes, then it will never change.

This is where most people fail.

Casual attempts to “improve” yourself will not work.

• If you meditate sometimes, you will not change.

• If you eat well sometimes, your body will not transform.

• If you try to “be a better person” without commitment, your history will remain the same.

The subconscious does not take suggestions. It does not negotiate.

It sees what you do and determines your reality accordingly.

If your actions are not consistent enough to create a new prediction, the subconscious will continue to expect what it always has. And if it expects the same thing, then your reality will remain unchanged—no matter how much you wish for it to be different.

Everything You Want is on the Other Side of Better History

Whatever you think your problem is—mental, physical, emotional, spiritual—it is not now that you are fighting.

You are dealing with the history you have already made.

And there is only one way to change your life:

Make better history.

Everything else will follow.
