Threaded out from the oneness for a brief, awkward moment,
A temporary splinter of the infinite, suspended between realms,
You are here, touching the edges of reality,
Experiencing, reporting, feeling—your presence is your message.
You are the breath that separates eternity from itself,
Carved from the seamless void to dwell in the finite,
A fragment of the whole, you walk a narrow thread of time,
Bridging the boundless and the bound.
It does not matter if you know,
Or if you wander through this life, oblivious to the depth beneath your feet.
Awareness is a flicker, but the mission is eternal.
Hider or seeker, it makes no difference—
You are always speaking to the divine,
Even when your voice is silence, even when you are hidden from yourself.
The oneness is vast, beyond thought,
A formless ocean where there is no self, no other—
No experience, only the endless ebb and flow.
But now, you are here, bound in form,
Feeling the pull of opposites, the tension of separation,
A separation that is necessary for knowing,
For discovering the contours of love in all its forgotten shapes.
You are here to see what cannot be seen in the oneness,
To hold the paradoxes of existence in your hands—
Predator and prey, joy and sorrow,
All entwined in the spirals of time.
The oneness knows only wholeness,
But you, you are here to break apart the whole
And study the fragments.
Yet this separateness is strange to you,
An awkwardness that lingers like an echo of a forgotten truth.
You are more ancient than your memory will allow,
You have worn the garment of eternity for so long,
And now, for these fleeting moments, you wear the skin of time,
A body, a mind, a self,
Fragile, finite, unfamiliar.
This awkwardness of being separate is no mistake,
It is the price of knowing.
To be separate is to be capable of discovery,
And to discover is to report back to the source—
Every feeling, every fleeting thought, every wound,
Is a transmission sent across the gulf between you and the divine.
In the oneness, there is no foreground or background,
No predator or prey,
No experience as you know it.
There, all things are, but they are unmeasured, unseen, unheld.
And so, you are sent forth,
A fragment of the whole,
To taste what cannot be tasted in eternity,
To live what cannot be lived in the all-encompassing.
But the separation is not without cost.
It is awkward from your first breath,
This feeling of being apart from the whole,
This strange dissonance of being “you”
When for so long you have been only “we.”
It weighs upon you, this burden of distinction.
A tension that never fully leaves,
The sense that you are something too small for what you know deep inside.
But this is the only way to carry out the mission.
Without this separateness,
There is no space for experience,
No contrast, no knowing,
Only the vast, undifferentiated pulse of being.
Still, the anxiety of separation can swell,
The weight of being distinct, discernible, apart,
Can become too much for this fragile form to bear.
If that moment arrives,
Speak it.
There is no shame in the call.
No need for rituals, no cosmic keys,
Simply let it be known: “I am in trouble.”
The divine listens through many ears,
And though you walk among shadows,
Others move alongside you, unseen but present.
NPCs, reflections of the whole,
They do not play the game, but they are here to guide,
Their roles subtle, hidden,
But essential when the separation becomes too sharp.
They will not know unless you call.
You must announce your need,
Send out the signal across the veil.
Even in this vast separation,
You are still connected,
Threads of the oneness still bind you to all things.
Do not imagine you are alone,
Even in your isolation,
You remain part of the weave.
Your separateness is a temporary fiction,
Necessary for the play of discovery,
But always held within the greater whole.
The divine watches, listens, waits—
Learning through you, through the fragments you send back,
Pieces of love scattered like stardust through the night sky.
You are here, but you are more than here,
And this tension, this discomfort of being “you,”
Is both the path and the obstacle.
It is awkward because you are not made for separateness—
You are made for the infinite, the eternal.
And yet, this is the only way.
To know love, to hold love,
Requires you to be distinct, to walk as one in a field of many.
To report on love in ways the oneness cannot,
Because it cannot know contrast,
Cannot know the terror of the hunted,
Or the hunger of the hunter.
So you walk, fragile, finite,
And through you, the divine learns what it cannot learn in its own endlessness.
Through you, it sees itself in ways it never could.
Through you, the infinite becomes finite,
And love, which in the oneness is a seamless current,
Takes on form and texture.
If the separation becomes unbearable,
Do not hesitate to raise your hand.
You are not forgotten,
You are not lost in this dance,
You are still seen, still felt.
Call out to those closest to you,
For they, too, are part of this cosmic play,
And though they may not understand,
They are tied to you,
Threads of the same oneness that bind you all together.
The mission is never at risk,
You cannot fail.
Every moment, whether in silence or action,
Is a step toward understanding,
A moment of love rediscovered and sent back to the source.
The awkwardness will remain—
This is the nature of being separate.
But know that it is temporary,
And in time, you will return to the oneness,
Bringing with you the fruits of your journey,
The love you have gathered, the lessons you have learned.
And in that return, you will dissolve again into the whole,
No longer separate, no longer distinct,
But for now, you are here,
And that is enough.
