Living on the Isle of Palms

1502566_10152956516653086_4850688756791525445_nOnce you get the sand between your toes,

Once you smell the salt,

You will never want to live anywhere else.

Except during winter.  Fuck winter.  I hate winter 🙂

We islanders wear floppy floppies.  We don’t own jackets.  We sweep up sand off our floor.  We own 13 sunglasses.

We host beach parties.  Pool parties.  Windjammer back deck parties.  Morgan creek lawn parties.

We welcome our guests.  My neighbor Dean calls them “customers” 🙂  Our local government makes sure we are safe and comfortable.  They make our sandbar just right.

We love music, we love sunny days, we love boats, we love golf carts, we love each other.

We are small.  We are only 4,000.  And when 1 of us gets out of hand we help each other.  If that doesn’t work, we make you walk the plank 🙂

See you on my island soon!
