Jokers and Clowns

“Jokers to the left of me, clowns to the right, here I am, stuck in the middle with you.”

This classic line from the song “Stuck in the Middle with You” by Stealers Wheel has become a popular phrase to describe a feeling of being caught between two ridiculous or absurd situations.

It’s a sentiment that many of us can relate to, especially in today’s world of social media and politics, where there seems to be no shortage of jokers and clowns on either side of the aisle.

But perhaps the real joke is on us for letting ourselves get caught up in the madness. Maybe it’s time to take a step back, take a deep breath, and remember that sometimes the best way to deal with jokers to the left of us and clowns to the right is to simply walk away and find a more peaceful path.

After all, life is too short to spend it stuck in the middle with a bunch of clowns and jokers. So let’s put on our walking shoes and leave them behind, as we move forward towards a brighter and more sane future.
